Kaleider - An Android App for Creating Amazing Kaleidoscopes and Mirrors
The Kaleider Android app by Whizical is a free lifestyle app that allows you to experience the visual magic of the full Kaleider PC program on your Android device. The app generates an incredible variety of kaleidoscopes, mirrors, 3D mirrors, and funnels using any JPEG or PNG image as the source for effects. Kaleider has a lot of features to offer, including tile shifting, wandering, 3D rooms, non-flat surfaces, and continuous automated motion to effect tiles.
The app has 113 included varieties consisting of 12 kaleidoscopes, 41 rectangular mirrors, 33 diamond mirrors, 44 triangle mirrors, 11 3D mirrors, and 16 funnels. You can instantly generate a random effect or select a particular effect from the list. Kaleider allows you to save rendered effects as JPEG or PNG images. You can interactively shift rendered effect tiles, pinch with two fingers to zoom in/out, and apply continuous automated motion to effect tiles. There is also a music player that accompanies the Kaleider effects. The app provides buttons to quickly perform most actions, which can be toggled off to allow more screen area for displaying effects.
